Photographing the Royal Wedding

It’s huge news, but is it the wedding of the century? It seems it may be. Since England’s Prince William engagement to Kate Middleton was announced the web has been a buzz about the upcoming wedding! Likely locations for the wedding include Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s in London, or St. Georges Chapel in Windsor. And what has us all a buzz? Well, who will be shooting the wedding of course!

Reports say the wedding will take place in Spring or Summer of 2011. How many photographers are out there right now vying for the once in a lifetime chance of photographing this long awaited Royal Wedding?

The wedding is one of the biggest of Charles and Diana was captured by Royal Photographer Lord Lichfield, however he sadly passed away in 2005.

Right now it looks like Royal Photographer, Arthur Edwards maybe covering the event. According to an article published, Edwards photographed the couples engagement ring session as well, however I haven’t found any confirming wedding facts yet.

So for now, we would like to offer our heart felt congratulations to Prince William and his fiance Kate on their upcoming nuptials!
