I love Trash The Dress sessions! Not because they became all the rage, but because it gives you a chance to be creative and unique without worrying about messing up the bride on her perfect day! Unfortunately while looking for ideas to share with you I didn’t see a lot of unique. I did however see bunches of brides rolling around in the mud or painting themselves. So that’s what I’m sharing, but these I felt added an artistic value to the image. The poses were great, the image told a story or invoked an emotion. I especially love the underwater shots! I could do an entire post on that alone, which I think I will do in the future. So here are some great Trash The Dress ideas, but I’d love to see some different ideas. I love the work of Brooke Shaden! So I’m pretty excited about tomorrow’s CreativeLIVE workshop by Brooke! If you don’t know about creativeLIVE it is awesome! Oh baby! I totally want this lens! Sadly it’s one that I would have to save up for, but I still want it! The new Canon EF 200-400mm lens looks sweet! The price for this beauty is not so pretty at $11,799.00!

Newborn With Dad Poses

We can’t forget about Dad! I really love images of a newborn with their daddy! Mommy has had 9 months to bond and connect with baby, while Daddys been waiting patiently to meet their little bundle of joy. To capture that love and wonder of getting to know their baby is beautiful! So here I have a few posing ideas that do exactly that! Now I’m not really sure what the significance is of Dad not wearing a shirt during newborn sessions, but it’s pretty hard to find one where he is. I’d love to hear from some newborn photographers as to why that is. Not that it doesn’t look great, it does, I’m just curious….
